| A-I WELDERS The A-I Electric Welding Appliances Co., with 20 years of wide experience in the design and manufacture of all types of Resistance Welding Machines, offer you this accumulated knowledge in studying your particular welding problem. No matter how specialised your production may be, wherever the fabrication or assembly of metal components is carried out, assembly methods should be investigated with a view to the application of RESISTANCE WELDING, when under suitable conditions substantial COST REDUCTION can be effected. By concentrated development and PATENTED METHODS of WELDER CONTROL we have overcome difficulties that for a time created a feeling of scepticism on the part of manufacturers in applying welding to their production. With all A-I Welding Machines, SPOT WELDERS, FLASH and BUTT WELDERS, and SEAM WELDERS it is now possible to GUARANTEE the quality and the reliability of the weld and to maintain this consistency throughout production. Many are the important operations being carried out by A-I Automatic Welders and in many cases, firms whose trade name depends on the reliability of the united components rely wholly on the performance of A-I Welders in maintaining this high standard. A few examples:— AUTOMATIC SPOT WELDING. A-I Automatic Spot Welders are now being used by Leading Airplane Manufacturers, The Motor Car Industry, Railway Carriage and Wagon Builders, Structural Steel and Tank Builders, and Sheet Metal Workers, throughout the country. AUTOMATIC FLASH AND BUTT WELDING. Many are the important names on our Customers' List for this class of machine. Motor Car axle tubes involving the highest degree of reliability and accuracy are each day assembled by the most important firms in the country on A-I Patent Automatic Flash Welders. Boiler Manufacturers, Railway Companies, and Shipbuilders use these machines for Automatic Tube Welding, the welded tubes having to withstand in some cases pressures up to 1,250 lbs. per square inch, superheated steam. A-I Automatic Flash Welders have been approved by Lloyd's Registry of Shipping, The Board of Trade, and The British Corporation, for various purposes, after exhaustive tests by their survey which may be taken as a criterion of the reliability of the welds produced. Other Industries, among which are the following:— Steel Window Manufacturers, Steel Furniture, Dairy and Domestic Equipment, including Stainless Steel Containers; Motor Car Wheels, Brake Rods, Torque Tubes, and many others too numerous to mention, are being assembled with A-I Automatic Flash Welders and Butt Welders and these firms have effected Substantial Cost Reduction by the use of these machines. AUTOMATIC SEAM WELDING. Where continuous welds for liquid vapour or oil-tight seams are required our A-I Patent Automatic Seam Welders are used extensively by Important Oil Companies, Electrical Industries, Airplane Manufacturers and in the Sheet Metal Industries. The rapid welding speeds and low running cost of A-I Seam Welders obtainable by our patented method of Current Regulation in these machines is such that manufacturers engaged in repetition work in sheet metal fabrication cannot afford to be without this economic process of assembly.
