We send herewith a print of "N" Scheme 555, shewing the proposed connection. We thought an insulated conductor better than a bare flexible metallic connection, such as a steel cable. We might go on to the governor casing, but thought this made too short a piece of wire unless there were a coil in it, and the coil, while not of much importance in this particular circuit, is perhaps better out. Further, the battery is earthed to the dashboard in the existing arrangement, and therefore the frame seemed the more direct connection.
