With regard to Tudor batteries, the Tudor Co. have been very slow in putting before us the sample batteries for which we have asked. The batteries they have submitted, however, show promise of being very reliable and suitable for the car. It is, therefore, our intention, in order to inspect their processes, to pay a visit to the Tudor Company this next Wednesday or Thursday and see if we can boost them up. The batteries for which we have asked from the Tudor Company are those for rear of frame position. We have had one of these and it has done very well on bench tests. Unfortunately, one cell developed a leak which renders it unsuitable for being placed on a car. We had better see if the Tudor Company have a battery of our standard capacity which they can send us.

Regarding Lucas batteries, these are made by Lucas' themselves. We have seen their shops in which the plates are pasted and the cells are built.

We have no knowledge of a Willard factory on this side, but perhaps Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} would be able to find out definitely if such exists.
