To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} -2- E14/G29/3/19. provisionally. We propose to let you know at a later date whether any alteration will be required to this detail. Another point in connection with this matter is that the rear pair of angles forming stiffeners for the undershield may be moved a little forward until they coincide with the rear fixings of the third crossmember. We shall let you knowabout this point also at a later date. We can hardly at the moment ask you to put in hand any material for this undershield, but we think that you should feel yourselves at liberty to proceed with the matter as soon as you have sufficient information about the shape of the lower portion of the engine.
