Sall- Please see me Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} BY/SS.{S. Smith}1/G.3.11.34 20/25 HP. CHASSIS. ------------------- CYLINDER BLOCK WITH CAST INDUCTION PASSAGE - LeC.3795. ------------------------------------------------------- With reference to the standardisation of the above feature, will you please clear up the following questions, so that the production detail drawing may be completed :- (1). The diameter of the passage at the carburetter face is 1.625 on LeC.3795 and 1.375 on the detail drawing Ex.13766. We assume the latter dimension is what you require. (2). Assuming 1.375 diameter is used, it does not line up with the carburetter bore which is 1.500 dia-meter. Would not you prefer the mouth of the cast induction bore machined 1.500 diameter, taper-ing at an included angle of 60°. BY/SS.{S. Smith} | ||
