Y446 PNS/DN/13.6.24. TO Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM PN.{Mr Northey} With reference to your report (Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG12.6.24) on the 20 HP Sunbeam car, am I right in assuming that the system of four wheel brakes thereon was not capable of being adjusted up to be more effective than as stated by you ? Also, is the system on the Sunbeam similar to that on the Bentley, that is, no Servo, but self-wrapping brakes either in front or at the rear. I have heard people speaking strongly in favour of the Sunbeam brakes. P.N. | ||
