Dear Arthur,

Just before my father died he bought a Rolls Royce Wraith which was first registered in November 1938. As I now want to sell this car I was wondering if you could give me any idea of the price I should take for it or the best way of disposing of it.

It is a Thrupp and Maberly body and really in very good condition having only done 9,374 miles.

I am sorry to bother you like this but the price that Jack Barclay offered me seemed ridiculously low being in the region of £900.

I hope Beryl is well - please give her my love. It seems a long time since I saw either of you.

Yours very sincerely,

Eric
