Re Phantom 11 - Exhaust Fittings - Sec:5230.

Please receive herewith blueprints of the following drawings, detailed from Scheme 1397:-

E.81884 Sliding Joint (Inter: Exhaust Pipe)
E.81885 Exhaust Pipe (Intermediate)) replaces E.79097.
E.81886 " " (Inter: to Silencer)
E.81887 End Piece (Silencer) replaces E.78953.
E.81888 Lagging Sheet (Inter: Pipe) " E.79301.
E.81889 " " ( " " ) " E.79302.
Scheme 1397.
Will you please instruct as required, together with:-

G.5472 Rivet (Sling Bracket) 4 off.

Remainder to standard LOP.E.79108.

The above parts have been produced in order to change the position of the sliding joint from the front end of the rear silencer (where apparently it has not been working satisfactorily), to a point in front of the double bend on the intermediate pipe, similar to the 20/25HP chassis.

Three sets of these parts have been fitted to chassis by the Works, and found to work quite satisfactorily.

BY/CB.
