USE CRANKCASE OIL OVER AND OVER AGAIN Luber-finer Contains a Powerful Exclusive Refining Agent That Refines Crankcase Oil As You Drive Luber-finer, the only genuine oil refiner for your motor, continually and automatically refines crankcase oil during engine operation—removing dirt, sludge, acid and water. In its refining operation Luber-finer employs the same scientific principles as are used by the world’s largest manufacturers and refiners of lubricating oil—ADsorption and ABsorption by an exclusive and powerful refining agent. The result: refined oil, equal in every respect to the best new oil you may purchase is steadily and continuously fed to the engine as it runs. Luber-finer’s exclusive refining agent is recognized and approved by leading oil refinery experts. Don’t confuse Luber-finer with “filters” or “strainers.” Ordinary filtering materials used in these devices won’t refine oil—they merely strain it. Luber-finer starts where filters stop. For, in addition to eliminating dirt, dust, metallic and foreign particles from the oil system, Luber-finer refines, decolorizes, purifies and reconditions crankcase oil automatically and continuously, using crankcase oil over and over again. Luber-finer also controls excess acidity and dilution. Don’t be misled by any such statement as “clear filtered oil is good oil.” Oil can be clear and of good color and still be so acid as to be extremely injurious to motors. If your engine is Luber-finer equipped—crankcase oil is not only clean and bright, but also any tendency toward oil acidity is continually counteracted. Remember this: to control oil acidity Luber-finer employs the same refining methods as do the refiners of new lubricating oils, namely: the use of an activated refining agent; there is no other way. And remember this too—with all these benefits, the per mile cost of this genuine oil refiner is less than the average oil filter. Luber-finer’s ABsorbent and ADsorbent refining agent prevents formation of primary oil contaminations, which in their secondary state would form carbon, sludge, waxes, gums, resins and other injurious substances, hastening motor depreciation and causing engine inefficiency. Luber-finer, therefore, obtains the greatest value from a lubricant because it allows it to work in an uncontaminated condition. Thousands of miles are added to both oil and engine life—no solid deposits are formed on metal surfaces—the engine operates at a lower temperature and—there is actually less consumption of lubricating oil. Every one of Luber-finer’s advantages and benefits are available to Diesel, marine, stationary, natural gas, Caterpillar and tractor owners, as well as to car and truck owners and operators. Luber-finer is easily installed on any make or model of internal combustion engine. It starts to earn and save money the moment that it is installed. How Luber-finer Operates: Used oil from the crankcase enters the Luber-finer at the top (A) and flows through the center perforated tube (B) which is covered with a protective covering of porous, fibrous material (C), and under normal engine pressure it is forced through the heart of the Luber-finer, which is composed of our exclusive refining material (D) which is contained in the perforated cylinder (E) and then into the cylindrical space (F). It then follows the upward path to the outlet opening (G) and thence back to the crankcase. Before it can reach the opening (G) it passes through the fine mesh wire cloth (H). "OIL NEVER WEARS OUT" Read What the U. S. Bureau of Standards Says: “The Bureau has analyzed a considerable number of samples of reclaimed crankcase oil and found many of them do show as great excellence in the commonly measured properties as do the so-called new oils. It is believed possible that such oils may be more stable than new oil...because the more readily oxidizable constituents presumably have been removed.” Copyright 1936. By Luber-finer, Inc.
