Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/LS.2/T.26.6.39 -2- B.V Progress. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} said he was not satisfied with the progress of B.V, due to delay in the deliveries of certain materials. The material for fly wheel disc was a case in point, although the delivery date for this has been reduced from 8 to 2 weeks. Gear Box. Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} had complaints of the B.V gear box, although the same box had previously satisfied Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} and Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} It was pointed out that gear box noise had never been a serious complaint with our customers, and that in view of this we should not be unduly critical.
