Query on a calculation for the gyroscopic couple on a front axle during high-speed wheel wobble.

This calculation for the gyrostatic couple engendered in the front axle due to wheel twist during a high speed wobble assumes a constant mean angular velocity of precession. Actually the wheel is accelerated and decelerated during its contact with the ground. Hence the figure of 1800 lbs ft is hardly correct. To what extent would acceleration affect the result?
