2. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}8/MH.{M. Huckerby}9.9.37. Teazer Torque Test. The torque obtained on this test was 6½lbs. ins. the input being 17 amperes at 10 volts. The usual torque obtained under these conditions from a standard machine is from 36 - 40lbs. ins. Main Load Test. Brake Torque 14½lb. ins. at a speed of 840 R.P.M. with an input of 130 amperes at 9 volts. This is equal to standard performance. Engagement Test. Motor Hot. Satisfactory engagement was obtained at 8.5 volts. This is an improvement on the standard performance: specification calls for a maximum voltage of 10.5. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R.
