To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Wep. Er. 21-G-IV. 10,000 Miles Test. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}14/E14.11.34 Thanks for Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/KW.14.11.34 which has crossed mine of to-day's date asking when the car was going. We should certainly like to see and try the car on Friday. Please let me know what time it will be here. Re Steering. I note what you say and should be glad to know how the ratio now on the car compares with our present standard. Re Stabilising Bumper Bar - I was not aware that we had under consideration the question of standardizing a bumper bar on the 20/25 and I do not feel that we need do so as there are very few complaints about front movement on this car. I am glad to note that you are sending with the car a bumper bar and lightened cross member which can be tried by GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} on a Bentley Saloon in France and so obtain confirmation of our tests over here. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
