Wraith II Steering Ball Joint.

We have already sent to you the geometry which determines the length of the cross steering tubes on Wraith II.

On N.Sch.4849 herewith we show the design of the cross steering tube ball joints, both inner and outer ends.

The spring load on the balls to provide friction has been fixed at 200 lbs., and the lower ball pad is prevented from turning by having a saw cut through one side, whereby allowing the spring load to expand the pad into its housing.
