With reference to your memo. ref. PN{Mr Northey}14/DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}4.11.21 attaching original letter from F.L. Rapson, ESQ. regarding Tyres, Jacks and Dipping Head-lights.

You will see that we have sent a report to R.{Sir Henry Royce} saying that we consider the Rapson Jack is one of the best Jacks we have tested.

I think also the scheme of dipping the head-lights, if it could be made mechanically strong and reliable, is one of the best methods of overcoming the glare.

As regards the Rapson tyres, we have written Mr. Rapson to see whether he would be prepared to let us have a set of tyres for test on special terms. We attach copy of the letter.
