E.W. Hives Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Nightingale Road,
DERBY.
Dear Mr. Hives,
With reference to our conversation yesterday on the various samples that you are going to show to Mr.Royce and the people at West WitteringHenry Royce's home town, you asked me for some notes on the subject that you could explain to Mr.Day and possibly the enclosed will be useful.
I hope you will be able to induce Mr. Day to give his assent to the use of our B.D.11. Batteries for the 40/50 car as he appears to be the one person remaining against its standardisation.
Kind regards,
Yours truly,
G.R.N.Minchin
ENCL.
