To By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. to BY/HEB.{H. Biraben} X7410 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG16. 8.27. EAC-7 REAR SPRINGS. In Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG22.4.2 7. we called for 12 rear springs for EAC.7. It is quite obvious that these are all too light. The reason is that previously all rear springs have been denominated by the poundage required to give 6" deflection and on EAC.7. the deflection is now [REDACTED] altered to 8 1/4", therefore all the springs ordered were 30% too light owing to the change in spring nomenclature. Will you please order for us 2 1490 lbs. rear springs. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
