We send herewith a blueprint of LeC.2638 shewing a proposed cast exhaust manifold. We have endeavoured to make the manifold stiff enough to cause the end connections to slide on the cyl. block when the pipe gets hot. To do this we have modified the curves in plan and elevation. The side branches now pass above sparking plugs 3 and 4. instead of below. The original of this drg. is attached to BY's copy of this memo. E, | ||
