2.

We consider our claims are quite reasonable in this respect as your American friends have a favourable opinion of our lubricants, and in regard to aeroplane work in the United States of America we hold a very strong position.

It is very probable that you have a number of your own British built engines in the States and we believe that the oil which you recommend has no sale in that country.

However, we quite appreciate that it is a point which you have to decide but we would ask you to re-consider the matter in all its aspects and we think that if you will take these matters into consideration there will be no harm in giving the matter further thought, and perhaps giving the oil a trial, so as to cover your good selves on the various points enumerated.

Very truly yours,

BRITISH MINERAL OIL PRODUCTS LIMITED.
