contd :- -4- SUPPORT CARRIED TO REAR OF GEAR BOX. WIDELY SPACED REAR SPRINGS. TRUNNION BEARING. The lateral stability is obtained by a very wide frame at the rear and two semi elliptic as near the wheels as possible. On the road the suspension of this car was certainly, taken all round, the best of the three comparing very favourably with the Lancia. It did not roll unduly on corners though this was possibly due to the fact that a light low covered Weymann body was fitted. The steering was remarkably free from shocks, and light, though high geared. The brakes were quite efficient. On the whole a very sound chassis in which contd :- | ||
