BT {Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer} /MS. [Struck through] c. Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} ------- 1306 DA. {Bernard Day - Chassis Design} 1/G.26.8.38. BENTLEY 3, 50 and WRAITH 80. REAR SPRINGS. A.R.M. Please receive herewith the following scheme :- F.CD.852 Locating screw for threaded bushes. In order to obtain a definite stop for the threaded bushes pressed into position without knurling, we show a screw produced in S/N. with a .137 dia. end instead of the one at present used, which is produced in brass. It will be noticed that a locating screw has been added to the shackle bracket, a boss will therefore require adding to the forgings. Please instruct experimentally.
