Front Springs for "U" Series - 40/50 HP. Chassis.

In partial reply to EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}1/H17.9.24, we expect that a fortnight hence, 6th prox. Woodheads will commence to deliver to us, for "U" Series and changeovers, front axle springs 43 1/2" centres, 12 1/2% stiffer type, with 10 to 13 plates, at the rate of 30 springs (15 pairs) per week; and that 3 weeks hence Firths will commence to deliver, for "U" Series and changeovers, similar springs to us at the rate of 36 springs (18 pairs) per week.

Woodhead's springs will have main plates .284" thick and Firth's springs will have main plates .312" thick.
