The Light Production Co.Ltd.,
60/66 Rochester Row,
LONDON.S.W.1.

For the attention of Mr. C.H. Brooks.

Dear Sirs,

Confirming our telephone conversation this morning with your Works at Slough.

With reference to your letter dated 26th. June 1939. you are quite correct in assuming that the piston EB.4587 should have no other difference to EB.4740 than the height of the bump, and we thank you for bringing this point to our notice.

Will you therefore do as you suggest and give this piston your number P.452.A. We would appreciate two prints of the drawing for record purposes.

With reference to 3.250" bore pistons. Will you please put in hand a further 14 pistons to our drawing EW.2170 having the .360 bump, also would you please supply us with a print of this piston as we have no new number, other than for the one with the .470 bump.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
