Y4555 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. c. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL.. EFC1/T27.11.28. HEADLAMPS ON CHASSIS 10-G3. These lamps are Lucas type RB.{R. Bowen}160S. One of these, viz. the one at present on the offside, is fitted with a dipping reflector which can be pneumatically operated. The mechanism also contains a switch which switches out the other lamp. The pneumatic portion consists of pneumatic cylinder and push-pull knob and of ~~electrical~~ pneumatic tubing. We have obtained the pneumatic cylinder and tubing and hand same to you herewith. Will you please have this arranged on the car with the lamps in the correct manner, which is that the lamp with the dipping reflector should naturally go on the nearside, so that the position of the lamps on the car will require exchanging. The wiring should be correctly arranged so that the operation of the switch on the one lamp causes the other lamp to be switched off. EFC. | ||
