baffle attached to it.

If you could incorporate such a surge baffle attached to the main baffle when you finally complete the tank, and you would be prepared to approve such a feature for final test, we believe that this is the best chance we have of getting a vigorous pumping with the unit placed as far away from the main baffle as it is at present.

Pending you completing the manufacture of the tank, we are retaining the experimental unit here for some pressure tests on our test rig, to see that the factor of safety is sufficiently secured with the venting which we have arranged.

Assuring you at all times of our best attention,

We remain, dear Sirs,

Yours faithfully,

H.M.HOBSON,Ltd.,

T.P.Searight

Joint Managing Director.
