Sticking Air Valves.

Referring to Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}8/R.20.9.34, I heard from C. yesterday that one of the new type air valves which he has been running had stuck, and upon sending a man down to investigate found that this was the case.

We were really afraid this might happen as it is only by prolonged use that one can find out whether the modification overcomes the trouble.

We are going to alter the pieces to improve matters, but in view of these facts it does not seem policy to fit the air valves as they stand in cases of complaint.
