45080 To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/KW.21.9.34. 20/25 HP. New Type Carburetter. Referring to Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}1/KW.13.9.34. This carburetter gives between 15 and 20% increase in power. This is equivalent to about 3 M.P.H. increase in top speed and 25% increase in acceleration between 60 and 70 M.P.H. on top gear. Similarly, the acceleration on 3rd speed will be greatly increased above 45 M.P.H. The carburetter has the added advantage of enabling the car to be driven away from cold with much more facility than the present carburetter. Furthermore, it gives better slow running.
