1370. DUNLOP RUBBER CO.,LTD. TELEGRAPHIC ADDRESS: "DUNLOP, PHONE, BIRMINGHAM" TELEPHONE: ERDINGTON 2121 (P.B.X) EXTENSION NO. 395. YOUR REF: OUR REF: HEP/WS.210.D. FORT DUNLOP ERDINGTON BIRMINGHAM 24 Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited, DERBY. For the attention of S.H.Grylls, Esq. 12th January, 1939. Dear Sirs, Further to our letter of the 10th January and confirming telephone conversation yesterday afternoon, we hold approximately 450 72V type wheel shells, already processed to the original length. The proposed modification would take approximately three weeks to introduce, and on this basis you agreed that we could go ahead without fear of disturbing continuity of wheel supplies. We are therefore proceeding accordingly and it is confirmed that the modification will apply to both Wraith and Bentley wheels. It is for the latter reason that Mr.Sharp is sending through a new drawing showing the relative position of the Wraith and Bentley nuts. Yours faithfully, For DUNLOP RUBBER CO., LTD.
