Re Failure of Instruments on Clients' Cars.

With reference to your memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}16/JH dated 2nd inst., subject above, the action taken by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std to have alleged faulty Thermometers, Calorstats, Thermostats, etc., tested before returning to makers was of a temporary nature, and as you now wish to discontinue this practice will all concerned kindly arrange for particulars of such instruments to be sent to the Order Office, i.e. Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/JT, as hitherto, when it would materially assist us.
