MINUTES OF CHASSIS CONFERENCE IN BY'S OFFICE

WITH BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} and RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/JRD.

MONDAY, 3rd APRIL 1939.

STEERING.
The question of faulty rollers was fully discussed, and it was agreed to order sufficient material to cover 400 rollers, pending the discussion with Hoffmann's representative in the afternoon.

HOYTS WHITE METAL BEARINGS.
BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} agreed to allow Hoyts to produce steel shells from DTD.299 material.

SPOT WELDING.
Samples were submitted, but as BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} required some further investigation carrying out, it was agreed to reconsider the matter at a later Meeting.

B.V.
The Sections still to be released were considered, and it was agreed the outstanding parts would be cleared by the 15th.

WRAITH 'D' SERIES.
This was left over, as it was to be discussed with Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} at the Conference.
