The Clerk of the Course,
Derby & District Motor Club,
Donington Park.

Dear Sir,

Further to our telephone conversation, we attach herewith a sketch of the ground we should like to use for the steering tests. You will see that this consists of a space 80 yards in diameter, absolutely flat, and to have a concrete surface.

We think if this "skid pan" was available to manufacturers in the same way as the present circuit, we shouldnot be the only ones to use it. We hope therefore you will build such a place at Donington Park.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
