cells each, in this manner internal
cell to cell leakage is likely to occur
when the battery is in service.

Two terminals of each set have burnt on
links. The other two connect up to the
next set by a flexible link, which is
tightened down by means of a flat
terminal, screwed up with a screwdriver
which has been made for the purpose &
another hand tightening terminal is
used to lock the bottom one. The links
are of copper & nickel plated & the nuts
& lugs are of nickel plated brass.
