Re Autovac Restriction Elbow (F.75341). We have just come across a case of the plunger of the restriction elbow sticking in the closed position, owing to the taper end of the spindle becoming fast in the hole before the piston had reached the end of the cylinder. In this case the piston is about .050 from end of cylinder when the taper limits the movement, and the taper is so fine that it readily sticks against the light spring. We suggest that these valves should be tested to make sure that the piston stops against the end of the cylinder before the taper jams and sticks in the hole. Hm{Capt. W.
