Experimental department comments on issues with the wireless set, door, front apron, and rear wheel arch.

8. The remote control cables to the wireless set have such severe bends in them that the set cannot be tuned. One bad bend is the turn behind the tuning dial which is let into the elbow rail. This would be improved if the tuning dial unit were placed at 45° instead of vertical. The other bad bend is where the cables come up from the floor in the division and turn round through 180° and go down into the set.

9. The offside rear door when opened fouled the rear wing, and the wing cross section had to be changed by beating.

10. The front apron was .250 ins. too short, back to front. The rear edge should be a inch in front of the rounded edge of the radiator shell.

11. No shield was provided for screwing to the rear wheel arch around the clearance hole in it, to pass the petrol tank filler for the prevention of the entry of mud into the rear luggage compartment.
