Dear Sirs,

Attention of Mr.Devereux.

The writer understands from Mr. Howlett that on the occasion of your recent visits to Rolls Royce, the question of Alloy was discussed for Bristol Aero Co's bearing, and it is understood that these will be made in AC.6. material, which you will be supplying for the purpose.

The writer would, however, point out that we have a large quantity of AC.6. material already in hand obtained from H.D.A. but we would like to get this matter quite clear that it really is the AC.6. which is intended for this bearing.

We also understand that the discussion at Rolls centred around the type of mould to be used and method of its operation and we await particulars of this from Rolls Royce.

Meanwhile would you please confirm any point regarding the alloy to be used so that we may be quite certain as to what we are supplying the Bristol Aero Co, to meet with the best possible chance of success.

Yours faithfully,
For WELLWORTHY PISTON RINGS LTD.,

Technical Manager.
