1135 To By/Ald.{F. Allwood - Experimental Design} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. c. HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/WSC.{W. S. Cassel} c. By/NS.{Norman Scott} FAN BELTS FOR PAULIN CONTINENTAL BENTLEY CAR. By/Ald.{F. Allwood - Experimental Design} has instructed a special lowered fan to suit above car and a suitable belt EXS.1375. To obtain this belt from Messrs. Ferodo Ltd. will probably mean making a new mould (we are ascertaining this), which while not very expensive, may be useless expenditure if the fan position has to be altered again. We therefore suggest that British Goodrich belts mould No. 27J should be purchased for the first cars until we see whether alterations are necessary - if they are not, then before going into production, a mould should be instructed to make Ferogrip belts to EXS.1375.
