We have tested the pistons which are fitted with a scraper ring at the bottom of the piston skirt.
All the rings were of the plain type.

It will be seen from the appended curves that this piston does not overcome our over-oiling trouble.

We are next trying these pistons with that part of the skirt below the lower scraper, turned away to allow free ax release for the oil below the scraper.
