With reference to Type 2 Front Axle, section 200, Blue Print 132, it appears that the track of these No.2 cars was 50", but it could soon be ascertained by examination of the rear axle as well as the original front axle.

I do not know that there was any difference between them, except in the case of the one car which I used at Quarndon.

I should think that it would be quite in order to continue the use of the tubular axle, but before making a number from the Drawing 132, I should like to see the wheel leaning outwards at the top, say 1 1/2 degrees and the steering pivot inclined from 3 to 5 degrees, so that the road contact shall be nearer to a line continued through the steering pivot.

The blue print 132 I have marked with the following notes:-

"Inclination of wheel. 1-2 degrees.
Inclination of steering pivot 3 to 5 degrees.
Add something to the centre of the pivot to make up for the inclination of the wheel, so as to keep the track constant.
