(5) Previous valve lubrication has shown to be on lean side, this should be made in line with Wraith III.
(6) Check valve bounce speed whilst silencer is fitted.
(7) 1 hr. oil consumption and repeat.
(8) Fit torsional indicator and check for crank oscillations. Further work dependent upon results obtained.
(9) Set slow running.
(10) Generally tune up, curing all leaks etc. before passing off for chassis.

B.60 No.1.

Unit now fitted with raised crown pistons Exs.928 which with 3 gaskets gives ratio of 7.0 : 1.

Check open exhaust power and try switching off test, both at 3000 R.P.M. and idling.

Carry out with test bed exhaust system in order to get direct comparison with previous tests

(a) Power (max. and non detonating).
(b) Best idling.

Following completion of above, unit to be sent back to Shop for fitment of new camshaft.

WRAITH III NO.1.

Unit with 3 liners in R.R. alloy and 3 in Chr. Md. alloy.

To serve double purposes switch over piston ring comparisons to this unit. The previous test memo calling for this to be done on B.II No.4 unit is thus cancelled.
