Shock absorber performance, noise, and the effect of changing components.

4. This gives increased movement of the leathers and less load on the leathers for a given load on the ball.

While the shock absorbers can be made to grunt by rocking the car very gently, on an average road the movement seems to be sufficient to make this noise unnoticeable.

This car has been changed back from Lovejoys to the shortened R.H. and the improvement in riding at all speeds is very marked.
