X1775 To Lp.{Mr Lappin} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}15/KT.15.6.33. Ronald Banks met someone in Italy who wants to buy a Phantom car. I told him that although you were official aero engine 'liason' I did not know of anyone in London who was better equipped to give him information. If therefore he rings you up, will you do what you can for him. I don't think I thanked you sufficiently for bringing that Terraplane along to the track the other day. It certainly gave me thrills; I have never experienced on the Bentley. You car will be finished on Monday of next week. We have tried to make a good job of it as we can as you will realise it is probably the last time we shall be able to deal with it. I feel sure that you will find Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} a much more reasonable person to deal with than the Expl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
