EFC. WB.{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell}116. 3.12.26. WATFORD RO{C. C. Rose - Export Manager}1 MAGNETO No.94311 FITTED WITH LONG CAMS. As requested by BY/HM{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}, we have now examined and tested this magneto. It gave quite good results on the bench and we consider it to be O.K. for production. The low speed sparking and high speed sparking are certainly about the best we have ever obtained with RO{C. C. Rose - Export Manager}1 magnetos, regular sparks occurring on 4.5 mm. gaps in air at 100 r.p.m. retarded. We should like however to obtain a complete test of performance of this new magneto and examine the timing at some convenient time, also we consider the production test will need revising and altering on items 5 and 6.
