This apparatus consists of a transformer, a rectifying valve and two Lamp type resistances, housed in a metal case and provided with a flex and plug for 200 volts a.c. supply (frequency 40-100 [struck through] not specified) and flex and connector clips for the d.c output. Three terminals are mounted in line on the apparatus the middle of which carries a swivelling link connecting it either to the right or left hand terminal for dealing with different charging requirements.
