[Handwritten] N6099 RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From Ha/Wst. Ha/Wst.5/MA.6.3.35. FAN VENTILATED DYNAMO. It has been decided to fit the dynamo No.SF2 referred to in Ha/Wst.11/MA.20.2.35., to 21.G.IV instead of 18.G.IV as it will get more running time and the dynamo removed from 21.G.IV with special Morganite brushes grade EG12 is to be fitted to 18.G.IV. Will you please arrange for this work to be carried out as soon as 21.G.IV is available. It will be necessary to fit a standard Bentley coupling shaft to drawing EB157 in place of the shaft now on 21.G.IV as the spider on the new fan ventilated machine is a three pin one. When fitting the dynamo removed from 21.G.IV to 18.G.IV it will be necessary to modify the distribution board to 20/25 standard production type. This memo therefore supersedes our previous memo to you on this subject reference Ha/Wst.11/MA.20.2.35. Ha/Wst. [Handwritten] TT | ||
