SECRET. To-R/hld. from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}Hx.HI. FHR.Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Grv.Htr.WHS Bentley B.III-Specification. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}9/K15.4.37 Referring to R/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}2/WP.15.4.37 I have discussed with Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} and Bly.{B. W. Bleaney - Bentley Sales} and they are of the opinion that it would be a very retrograde step for us to give up supplying the revolution counter on the Bentley car. It still appears to be a characteristic feature of sports cars. As regards the instruments we agree the same layout as at present but we want improved illumination and concave dials on present type Bentleys and B.III as soon as we can have them without scrap.
