For the attention of Mr. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 29th ult. relative to suitable plugs for your 25 h.p. car.

We have hesitated in sending you plugs having a thicker centre electrode as we are rather under the impression that this might affect the slow running. We also had in mind the fact that if you found the HC3. plug to be satisfactory you would have one standard plug both for the 25 h.p. and the 40/50.

The writer is using the HC3. plug in his own 25 h.p. car, and has done upwards of 15,000 miles, and on examining the electrodes a few days ago there was very little sign of burning. It may be, however, that in your later type of car there is more tendency for electrodes to erode, and if you would like to try a plug with a thicker centre electrode we shall be most happy to send you some for test, and in fact we have put in hand one dozen plugs of this type which we hope to send you in the course of a few days.

Yours faithfully,

LODGE PLUGS LIMITED.
