+3701 S24 (Strikethrough) c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, BY10/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 15. 12. 24. PETROL TANK. ----------- I have got a filter in my possession which shows conclusively that we do not take sufficient trouble to get rid of the sand and small particles of metal on the various castings which go to form parts of the system between the inside of the filter in the bottom of the tank and the jet in the carburetter. /ed{J. L. Edwards} It is very important that these should be thoroughly clean, and finally pickled, and in addition, I propose to put some experiments through to enamel these and bake the enamel on, so that Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} will be able to find out whether the enamel will remain hard under such conditions, because I am certain that by so doing we should get better results than by any other method.
