The forwarding of Centricast AC6 bearings for heat treatment, Brinell testing, and long-distance testing.

Swindell} Centricast AC6 Bearings - Batch A.1. ----------------------------- We have today forwarded the following bearings 71 - Con. Rod Bearings. 41 - Mains Bearings. 16 - Phantom 111. to Heat Treatment where they are to receive:- 20 hours at 165° - 175° from there they will go to Mr. Talbot and will pass brinell - 67 - 80. One side of these bearings have been roughly disced to facilitate the taking of this brinell. These Castings have made in the normal routine and a full history is obtainable of the material and procedure. These Bearings are to go from Mr. Talbot to the Experimental Department for long distance test purposes. [Signature] | ||
