All-Glass Rotameters for the Laboratory and Works Rotameters with point guided float and tubular frame The hollow float, guided only at its lowest point by an axial wire, is free to swing about this point and centres itself like a freely suspended float even though the instrument is in motion or in an inclined position. Advantages: Light float with very small pressure drop. May be connected directly before or after bends or valves. Practically frictionless, therefore indications always reliable. Perfect operation even with the instrument in an inclined position. [Left Page Descriptions] 700/01 All-glass Rotameter 702 With nozzles for tubing 703 With standard ground glass housing for ease in cleaning 704 With standard ground glass joints and tension springs 705 With vacuum heat insulating jacket 706 With heating and cooling jacket 707 With thick rubber connecting pieces and float stops 708 For downward-flowing liquids (Retrometer) 709 With stand and cleaning plugs (ground-in) 710 as 709, with concentric return tube and pressure gauge 711 With adjustable range of indication 712 With top outflow (for liquids) 713 All-glass twin Rotameter for mixing two gases, with mixing chamber 714 as 713, with glass stop-cocks and provision for easy cleaning, without mixing chamber 715 All-glass Rotameter with contact arrangement, for warning signal 716 Rotameter, only to indicate that a flow is occurring [Right Page Descriptions] 400 Rotameter with point contact float; special type for industrial gas furnaces, with couplings for pipe lines from 1" to 2 1/2". Iron fittings nickel-plated; low pressure drop. 401 Rotameter as Fig. 400, but with stand and hose spigots. 402 Rotameter as Fig. 401, but twin instrument for mixing two flows. 403 Fuel meter for aircraft, for Petrol, Benzol, Oil; the point contact float ensures exact operation of the instrument in inclined flying positions. Light alloy fittings. 404 Twin Rotameter for autogenous welding for oxygen and acetylene; with fittings for attaching the instrument to the oxygen bottle. Metering with pressures up to 8 atms. with use of correction tables. Supplied with pressure gauge on request. 405 Arrangement for testing breathing apparatus, with oxygen meter, air meter and pressure gauge; sizes for usual types of breathing apparatus. 406 Arrangement for testing breathing apparatus; special type with change-over valve for oxygen, air and pressure measurement on one Rotameter.
