Replying to C.13/C.10.10.34!
We tried the dropped front cross member on this car as it was an exceptionally bad case of wing flap. The results were not as good as we expected from work on our own car.
Since then, as you will see by our reports, we have found a better method of dealing with the trouble. We shall therefore remove the cross member from Mr. Summers' car next time we have the opportunity. We therefore do not think he should be charged for the work.
